Kina's Lyre is an 8 year old 15.2 hand mare sired by Coeur De Lion, a Premium Holsteiner imported from Germany and raised in Canada (Falke x Cor De La Bryere). Kina has been in professional training for the past year and has competition experience in 3'6" to 3'9" Jumpers. Athletic and powerful, she has the stride of a much larger horse, is able to jump from any distance and has no problem getting down the lines. She has a fabulous cross country gallop, has a super front end, and plenty of scope. She will remain in training and continue showing until sold. Well behaved in the warm-up and in the ring, Kina needs minimal prep to jump her best. With solid compeitition experience at Novice, and a succesful debut at Training level with a fifth place finish out of 15 competitive horse and rider combinations, Kina has proven that she has the talent and heart to continue to progress in the world of eventing or show jumping. Summer
2002 Sport Pony Mare...

Summer is a fancy grey sport pony with impeccable ground manners and 3 correct and expressive gaits. She is in a consistent training program and has been progressing nicely with her flat and over fence work. She is currently jumping 2'6 to 2'9 and schooling beginner novice/novice cross country fences. She has been off the farm cross country schooling, to dressage schooling shows, and to the VA Horse Center for a weekend of schooling/showing. She completed her first maiden horse trial where she placed 4th out of 14 and just recently placed 2nd in her first Combined Test at Beginner Novice with a dressage score of 30.5 and the judge commenting "lovely mare, some really nice work". She is a dream to load and trailer, and is as calm schooling in new environments as she is at home.
Summer is best suited for an intermediate to experienced child or smaller adult rider (rider is the photos is 5'6") as she can be forward cross country and is more of a forward pony (though well behaved and sensible) in general. Summer has no soundness issues and is a very easy keeper. Feel free to call with any questions, if you are looking for a fun and talented ride with no issues, Summer may be the pony for you....

Born May 7th, 2008 out of a Thoroughbred mare who is a grandaughter of Seattle Slew and sired by Concerto Grosso (www.westwiththewind.com), Corelli is one of the most inquisitive and naturally confident babies we have ever owned. He is always the first to inspect everything. Corelli has a very keen sense of self even at his young age and we expect him to excel in the show ring. A perfect prospect for eventing, he has the movement, athleticism, and boldness to make it to the top. A definite upper level prospect.
See Corelli's half brother, Charleston (currently offered for sale by owner), a 2005 Premium Oldenburg Gelding also sired by Concerto Grosso, ridden by Susanne McDaniel, owner of SpryngHaven Farm, and owned by Meg Lomax. We have worked with several of Concerto's offspring (see horses that have been sold: Copeland, Iryndale, Copperfield) and each have demonstrated the rhythmic, balanced gaits their sire is known for passing on as well as the mind set that allows them to excel in training.
